Clinical supervision

supporting your path to Arizona licensure

becoming a licensed clinician

As an Arizona Board of Behavioral Health Examiners (AZBBHE)–approved Clinical Supervisor, I provide supervision for associate-level clinicians working toward independent licensure in counseling, social work, or marriage and family therapy. My goal as a supervisor is to create a collaborative, reflective space where developing professionals can grow in competence, confidence, and clinical identity while meeting all AZBBHE supervision requirements.

Supervision with me goes beyond hour tracking—it’s a process of professional formation and personal discovery. Together, we’ll explore case conceptualization, ethical decision-making, and therapeutic presence while addressing the realities of clinical work: navigating systems, managing documentation, and cultivating sustainability.

I place strong emphasis on helping clinicians find their unique therapeutic voice—translating theory into practice in ways that feel genuine, grounded, and aligned with their values. Through supervision, clinicians learn not only what to do but how to bring their authentic selves into the work. This means integrating clinical knowledge with intuition, compassion, and self-awareness to foster a practice that is both effective and sustainable.

Drawing from experience across college counseling centers, private practice, and interdisciplinary settings, I guide supervisees through a developmental model that balances support with challenge, reflection with skill-building.

If you’re pursuing licensure in Arizona and seeking a supervisor who values structure, authenticity, and the discovery of your professional identity, supervision at Forged Wellness offers tailored guidance that meets AZBBHE standards while helping you find confidence, clarity, and purpose in your clinical work.
